I Love You is a sculpture made during a residency in West Cornwall. I would scour the beaches at the end of the day looking for remnants of the memories of the day. Interested in the sculpture people allowed themselves to make in a perpetually refreshing landscape. eg sandcastles, digging holes, writing in sand.

I found this text "I LOVE YOU" on Marazion beach, having no idea who wrote it. It could have been written for someone else, written to the land, written as a goodbye, the beginning, or an end?

I have repeatedly printed this text back into the sand in the same location over 4 years, something intentionally ephemeral, collected and kept, with a hope they'll come back and happen upon it.
