Over My Dead Body is a sculpture made during research for Dig Me a Grave, exploring neolithic and medieval graves and stones. Looking at how gravestones featured symbols rather than words, symbols which were enough for people to know who was buried there.
Whilst also referencing a transphobic stance that in death trans people can't advocate for themselves, that the length of our bones may 'give us away' this work holds a stance of absolution, in stone.
